how we sell matters

Hello ethical movers!

We made it to 2021! And things still seem the same. Our team meeting on Friday was a breath of fresh air amidst all of us dealing with our own version of the status quo that is making life challenging.

We’re tackling the new year by combining the power of a deep need for things to be different with the fresh energy a new year brings to move forward even more purposefully – starting with introducing you to the amazing humans that have joined our team.

 the ethical move news.

Our tem team went from 6 to 8 (in 7 countries!)

Anyonita Green of Northern Bee Marketing will be taking the wheel of our social media management – which we are beyond excited about! And Maria Arango Kure, a marketer, web designer and academic researcher (currently studying human-computer interaction) is diving into our backend systems and the research for our ethical marketing standard. We’re moving towards creating a certification!

Here’s our group photo (Zoom’s Brady Bunch mode).

Hearing your WHYs for joining the ethical move inspires us on the daily. Check out what our recent pledgees are saying.

I’ve been writing towards this in my business all year actually. Most of these tactics are choices that always make me feel icky and through my anti-capitalist training I was able to learn that it’s because of its ethics.

Growth Animals are making the pledge as part of our move, to educate and improve the way that we do marketing, ensuring that it always remains human first, ethical and win, win, win. A win for our clients, a win for their customers and a win for society.

I have wasted so much money and time on offerings by online coaches and teachers who haven’t delivered value. Instead, it’s led to frustration, disappointment, self-doubt and confusion. I do things differently and was so excited to find the ethical move because it articulates what I wish was standard practice in online business.

 what we’re working on.

We are becoming more and more international, not just in the makeup of our team members, but in who we’re reaching. Which means there’s a need to start translating tem into other languages. Because of our multilingual team and our amazing contributors, we’re starting on the journey to going global, one language at a time.

Because of our growth and the need for translations, we recognized the need for more powerful systems all around. This year, we are starting with a website migration, a deep dive into SEO (and how to do it ethically), and upgrading the various tools we use to keep us running.

Exciting backend stuff!

We’re always working on ways to make ethical marketing easier, but we’d love to hear from you. What support or resources would you like to see from us? Hit reply and tell us!

We are always here for the conversation.
